The Master Course in the Global Engineering Program for International Students 2004 (GEPIS 2004)
The University of Fukui is determined to contribute the people in the world through research and education, and thus to prompte the global academic and student exchange. The Global Engineering Program for International Student (GEPIS) of the University of Fukui provides an opportunity for international students to study various field of engineering at the University of Fukui. English is the primary language of the instruction for the courses and for research supervision. Three-year doctoral course in engineering has been offered since the school year of 2000 and received excellent reputation. From this school year of 2004, a Two-Year Master Course in two disciplines, the Fiber Amenity Engineering, and the Nuclear Power and Energy Safety Engineering, is started. This is the call for application for the Master Course in the academic year of 2004, beginning October 1, 2004. Call for the application for the doctoral course has been posted in January.
Application Deadline and other Notice
- All the Forms Must be Received by the Admissions Office No Later Than Friday, April 30, 2004.
- This call is for privately-financed international applicants from abroad, and no scholarship will be provided from the MEXT nor from the University.
- Only two departments above mentioned are open for application this time.
- Before applying, make contact with one of the professors in the courses for suitability.
- Applicant is charged the examination fee of JPY 30,000. Applicant should consult with the professor about the way of payment.
