The Doctoral Course in the Global Engineering Program for International Students 2004 (GEPIS 2004)
The University of Fukui is determined to contribute the people in the world through research and education, and thus to prompte the global academic and student exchange. The Global Engineering Program for International Student (GEPIS) of the University of Fukui provides an opportunity for international students to study various field of engineering at the University of Fukui. English is the primary language of the instruction for the courses and for research supervision. Three-year Doctoral Course in a variety of engineering fields has been offered since the school year of 2000 and received excellent reputation. From this school year of 2004, a two-year Master Course in two disciplines, the Fiber Amenity Engineering, and the Nuclear Power and Energy Safety Engineering, will be started. This is the call for application for the Doctoral Course in the academic year of 2004, beginning October 1, 2004. Call for the application for the Master Course will be posted in February.
Application Deadline
- All the Forms Must be Received by the Admissions Office No Later Than February 27, 2004.

Those who are 24 years of age or older and are considered to have academic ability equivalent to a Master Degree or higher could apply for the GEPIS Doctoral Course. They must contact the Admissions Office of the University in advance for the eligibility and the individual entrance examination by Graduate School of the University of Fukui.
